This morning, you will be picked up at your Hotel in Flores or Tikal, for your transfer to the airport and board the flight to Flores, Petén. On arrival, you will be driven to Uaxactún the most ancient of the Mayan cities and it is believed that it was here where the Mayas consolidates their culture, perfected their writing system, and started to create their calendar. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
