THU: In the morning, departure from Guatemala City to Chichicastenango. Upon arrival, visit the colorful open-air market and the Church of Santo Tomás. Here you will be able to witness ceremonial rituals carried out on the steps of the church, which is more than 400 years old (shorts and swimsuits are not permitted inside the church). Hundreds of indigenous people arrive from surrounding villages to sell and trade their products, setting up small stalls throughout the market.
FRI: In the morning, departure to Sololá, where you will visit its picturesque local market. In the afternoon, continue to Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and one of the most famous natural attractions in Guatemala.
SAT: Around 9:00 a.m., you will board a boat that will take you to San Juan La Laguna, one of the twelve villages surrounding Lake Atitlán. Afterwards, continue to Antigua.
SUN: Visit the most interesting sites of Antigua, including churches, convents, monasteries, and other colonial landmarks. In the afternoon, return to Guatemala City.
