In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for your transfer to Antigua Guatemala, the most important and enchanting city of colonial Guatemala. Founded by the Spaniards in 1543, nowadays Antigua is a beautiful blend of ruins, restored colonial buildings, and new buildings in colonial style. It was declared “Monument of America” in 1965. You will visit a Coffee Farm located at the borders of the city of Antigua Guatemala, with an altitude between 5,000 and 6,500 feet; the coffee of Filadelfia produces one of finest coffees of the world, the product of Filadelfia has been awarded with “Copa de la Excelencia” twice.  200 acres of “Arabic” coffee have grown here by many generations in atmosphere friendly.  This beautiful farm of 900 acres has become and ecological tourist site.  In the tour, you can appreciate how its procedure phases.  The adventurers have the opportunity to breathe the fresh air in their mountains which is a forest reserve at an elevation of 8,000 feet with an incredible view to the valley of Antigua Guatemala.  The tour, will take you through plantations of white pine, cedar and cypresses.  Their expert guides will be pleased in responding any question concerning the process of the coffee.  During the tour you will learn many important aspects.  In the afternoon, you will visit the Central Plaza which is surrounded by the antique Cathedral, the Municipal Government Building, and the Palace of the Captains General; colonial churches and monasteries, primitive foot-looms where colorful textiles are woven, and a jade factory where this stone is worked into beautiful jewelry. In the afternoon, return to your hotel.
